The role, in brief:Â
The Account Executive is an experienced individual responsible for managing specific client accounts and programs under the Account Supervisor or Account Director. The position requires the ability to manage projects from start to finish, earning the confidence of and developing a strong working rapport with day-to-day client contacts. Two of the Account Executiveâs critical roles are (1) internal support of the client team, and (2) collaborate/define projects with the extended agency team including production, creative, media, and operations.Â

Responsibilities include:Â
- Develop and maintain active and productive working relationships with client contactsÂ
- Develop a knowledge of, and be conversant in each clientâs business â business model basics, key issues and competitive situationÂ
- Anticipate, and proactively make the Account Supervisor/Director aware of any and all expectation issuesÂ
- Understand the functions and processes of all agency departmentsÂ
- Effectively monitor the work of other agency departments against agreed upon timetablesÂ
- Effectively incorporate senior account management staff as project objectives or issues warrantÂ
- Articulate, and adhere to, agreed upon project directives and production guidelinesÂ
- Evaluate and provide a point of view on strategic, creative and media alternativesÂ
- Primary project executive on all client projects, demonstrating an ability to organize workload and workflowÂ
- Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress of projectsÂ
- Ensure project completion on time, and on budgetÂ
- Provide daily end to end project management of assigned clients projects and workflowsÂ
- Agency Processes â work with teams to communicate and streamline workflow of agency processes, provides oversight that they are being followed correctlyÂ
- Flexibility with condensed timelines and changes; not all projects align with the schedule plannedÂ
- As requested, provide presentation support including content development, presentation creation, preparation and deliveryÂ
- Collect, analyze, organize and present an insightful point of view on client assignments or new opportunitiesÂ
- Contribute to the development of project and/or annual client planning documentsÂ
- Consistently utilize agency tools and processes to ensure projects are on-time, on-budget and in support of the information needs of agency managementÂ
- Develops conference reports, job starts, change logs, strategic briefs, media briefs, buy authorizations, client status reportsÂ
- Responsible for project estimates and on-going budget & time reconciliations; reports on variances and needs which are outside of the project scope
- Prepare monthly budget recaps for each client and distribute to the supervisor Â
Those who succeed in this role have the following qualifications:Â
- Minimum 3-4 yearsâ experience within the advertising industryÂ
- Project management experience is a plusÂ
- Four-year degree from an accredited college/university in marketing or a related fieldÂ
- Previous agency experience preferredÂ
- Demonstrate a commitment to do whatever is required to get the job done right and with enthusiasmÂ
- Possess sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills, learning quickly from experienceÂ
- Must demonstrate a high ability in priority setting, time management and managing workload â able to prioritize multiple tasks, deadlines and tight timelinesÂ
- High attention to detail â attentive, accurate and thoroughÂ
- Ability to negotiate with different personalities to accomplish goalsÂ
- Knack for managing up â proactively and efficiently communicates major project/client milestones to agency leadershipÂ
- A âself-starterâ â able to anticipate needs, work with limited supervision and exercise independent judgment in problem solving when requiredÂ
- Must be able to write and speak with clarity, authority and persuasion, possessing expert presentation and written skills to internal and external audiencesÂ
- Must have high budget management skillsÂ
- Ability to cultivate a collaborative work environment with team members and has a constant desire for relationship development (with clients, vendors, team members)Â
- Ability to multitask and support various groups of usersÂ
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, EAS and have a working knowledge of all agency presentation equipmentÂ

Schedule and Location:
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm. Remote work available Fridays.Â
This role will be based out of our Denver, CO office.Â
Compensation:Â
The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000.
*New hires typically start between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications.
