Smith Staffing Services has Immediate need for the following Contract positions at one of our clients within the Howard County, Maryland area.

This is a 6 weeks or longer contact position
Job Description
Primary responsibilities are:
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately
Prepare monthly account reconciliations
Qualifications
- Proven working experience in accounting or relevant field
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Strong accounting software user
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, preferred
- CPA or CMA preferred
