Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:Â
The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor payments. The role works closely with the Property Accounting and Property Management departments.Â
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Â Â
Review invoices and support documentation for payment processing of vendor invoices.Â
Print checks, obtain signatures, mail or distribute checks to appropriate accounting personnelÂ
Scan and file check batches electronicallyÂ
Research and resolve invoice exception issues within the AVIDÂ systemÂ
Review, sort and distribute mail to Project AccountantsÂ
Review and approve new vendors in the Accounts Payable systemÂ
Assist with 1099 processing and reportingÂ
Additional projects as requested by Accounting LeadershipÂ
Qualifications
Attention to DetailÂ
Pro-Active and OrganizedÂ
Strong verbal and written communication skillsÂ
Excellent customer service skillsÂ
Ability to work on teamsÂ
Experience with Microsoft Excel, a plusÂ
Accounting software experience; Yardi or MRI experience, a plusÂ
AvidXchange experience a plusÂ
