We are looking for an 1+ year Experienced HYUNDAI SERVICE TECHICIAN which fills a very critical role for us for HYUNDAI.   It is so important to have that one person you can go to for your automotive repair needs. Someone you can trust! We need that special person here to work with our great team of technicians!!!!

Our flat rate technicians are eligible to participate in our Tech Retention Bonus  program upon hire date.   You will bank a set dollar amount for every hour of warranty and customer pay booked.  The value of the dollar amount will increase with the years of service by the technician.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service
• Test drive guest vehicles to verify and duplicate vehicle concerns
• Safely drive vehicles in and out of service bays
• Safely lift vehicles utilizing manufacturer specified lift points
• Diagnose and repair guest concerns listed on the job card in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools, special tools and necessary shop equipment
• Perform an accurate multipoint vehicle inspection recommending necessary maintenance or repairs based on a failed inspection item or mileage intervals
• Test drive vehicles when work is completed (a minimum of 4 miles) to ensure proper repairs have remedied the issues
• Communicate directly with the service advisor so that the guest is informed of any repairs or any additional work that may be needed
• Utilize manufacturer website to keep up with manufacturer required training, recalls, and vehicle bulletin information
• Execute warranty repair work to manufacturer specifications
• Maintain a proper tool set necessary to complete repairs on guest and or internal vehicles
• Follow all O.S.H.A. and Dealer safety guidelines
• Keep current on your Hyundai certified/expert training.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Maintain a clean driving record & valid driver’s license
• Effective communication skills
• Diagnostic skills
• Hyundai Certifications
• Automotive Certificate/Degree or Schooling a plus
