Job Description

Purpose of the position:
Designing and constructing buildings and structures that are safe and capable of
withstanding the elements to which they will be exposed, as well as improving
the structural integrity of our existing buildings. Work with management to design
and plan project details and provide technical advice to site representatives.

• Procurement – ensure second level check for all quotes before execution Select and/or source construction materials. 
• Review drawings (to closely guide the design team on workable/functional designs from inception).
• Ensure signoff on all design reviews before execution.
• Advice architects and engineers on omissions and discrepancies in plans/specification and assist in rectifying the problem.
• Prepare progress reports / milestone reports & make presentations for both internal and external use Artisan Management and ensure the correct materials and tool.

Qualifications

• Minimum if B.Sc Civil Engineering
• Project Management Certification
• Ability to use minimum of 3 design softwares (COREN is compulsory)
• Any other building /construction certificate
• Masters is an added advantage
• Work experience and skills
• Minimum 5 years in similar role
• Experience in site management and supervision
• Good understanding of building approval stages / processes
