About the role
Working closely with our Clinical Manager, you'll provide clinical leadership to a dedicated team of Nurses and Personal Care Assistants by mentoring, guiding, and setting the standard for high-quality, person-centred care each day. This is a substantive leadership position, not just a senior floor nurse role. You'll be involved in:
- Overseeing resident assessments, care planning, and documentation in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Managing complex wound care and coordinating allied health referrals
- Supporting audits, quality improvement programs, and compliance activity
- Driving infection control and clinical governance excellence
- Contributing to staff education, onboarding, and performance support
- Participating in clinical meetings focused on improving resident outcomes
What you'll bring
- Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration
- Minimum two years' experience in a senior nursing role within residential aged care
- Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and communication skills
- Solid understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, Code of Conduct, and Charter of Aged Care Rights
- Current National Police Check and valid Open Driver's Licence
- Working knowledge of Autumn Care (highly regarded)
