CNC Waterjet, Plasma and Laser Operator
About this role
L&L Metal Fabrication is searching for a talented CNC Waterjet, Plasma, and Laser Operator to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of CNC machinery to cut, shape, and profile metal components based on detailed specifications and blueprints. Your skill in managing these advanced technologies will be critical to ensuring the quality and precision of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC waterjet, plasma, and laser cutting machines.
- Program machines using G-code and other programming software to ensure accurate production of parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications.
- Conduct inspections of finished products to verify they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality targets.
- Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience operating CNC waterjet, plasma, and laser cutting machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in G-code programming and familiar with CAD/CAM software.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as necessary.
