About this role
Unibody Autotech Collision Repair Center is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Collision Repair Estimator to join our team. This role is critical in delivering accurate repair estimates, communicating with customers and insurance partners, and ensuring a smooth repair process from start to finish.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimatesÂ
- Write estimates using industry-standard software (CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex)Â
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair processes, timelines, and costsÂ
- Work directly with insurance companies to negotiate and finalize repair approvalsÂ
- Monitor repair progress and update estimates as needed (supplements)Â
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure proper repair procedures and parts usageÂ
- Order parts and verify pricing/availability when requiredÂ
- Maintain thorough and organized documentation of all estimates and communicationsÂ
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the repair lifecycleÂ
- Previous experience as a collision repair estimator requiredÂ
- I-CAR certification (or willingness to obtain)Â
- Experience working with DRP programsÂ
- Strong customer service mindsetÂ
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentÂ
- Proficiency with estimating platforms (CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex)Â
- Strong understanding of collision repair processes and proceduresÂ
- Excellent negotiation and communication skillsÂ
- High attention to detail and accuracyÂ
- Ability to manage multiple repairs and deadlines simultaneouslyÂ
- Valid driver’s licenseÂ
