Commercial Finance Business Partner

The role: 

As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will help drive our goals by: 

• Act as the trusted business partner to the sales team in the American Region, developing a deep understanding of the business and sales operation. 

• Partnering with sales teams to provide financial insight, challenge and support decision-making across customer accounts 

• Leading financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities for the commercial function 

• Analysing performance trends and translating data into actionable insights to improve profitability and cash delivery 

• Supporting the development and evaluation of business cases, commercial proposals and pricing decisions 

• Driving collaboration between finance, sales and operations to ensure alignment on performance and targets 

• Embedding strong financial controls and ensuring compliance across commercial activities 

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role: 

• Experience in a finance business partnering role within a complex or global organisation 

• Strong financial analysis, modelling and commercial acumen 

• Ability to influence and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders 

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and performance management processes 

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly 

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
