Copy Writer (German Required)

Megapixel Entertainment, a dynamic and innovative gaming company, is seeking a talented German Copy Writer to join our CRM team in Malta. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging, personalized content for our brands, with a focus on Wunderino.

Core Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Copywriting:

1. Develop compelling, creative copy in German for CRM campaigns across email, SMS, push notifications, and on-site communications.
2. Write and translate content for casino promotions, UX experiences, and ad-hoc requests from various departments.
3. Craft personalized content based on customer data and insights.
4. Ensure all copy adheres to brand tone of voice and German regulatory requirements.

Campaign Support:

1. Collaborate with CRM and VIP teams to fulfill copy requests for campaigns.
2. Provide copy for visual asset requests, including email and landing page images.
3. Support A/B testing efforts by creating variant copy for optimization.

Content Management:

1. Organize and document all created copies for easy accessibility and future reference.
2. Maintain a centralized system for managing communications across all channels.
3. Collaborate with the Casino and the UX Teams to update specific content pieces in Contentful.

Regulatory Compliance:

1. Ensure all copy complies with German gambling regulations, advertising rules, and industry standards.
2. Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and adapt copy accordingly.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

1. Work closely with CRM, Casino, UX, and Marketing teams to meet content needs.
2. Provide translations and linguistic support to other departments as needed.

Data-Driven Optimization:

1. Analyze campaign performance data to inform content strategy.
2. Use customer insights from surveys to improve personalization efforts.
3. Contribute to the development of tailored offers and communications.

Requirements:

• Native German speaker with excellent writing skills.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Swedish language skills are a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in the iGaming/online casino industry.
• 1-2 years of experience with creating content in German language.
• Strong understanding of CRM principles and customer engagement strategies.
• Experience with content management systems (e.g., Contentful) and project management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Familiarity with German gambling regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Creative mindset with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
• Data-driven approach to content optimization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
