Working in true collaboration with our client, we have one goal in mind: āto be the leading agency partner for the development of stunning and effective Needs based content and digital media campaignsā.Ā Ā
The brands are at the forefront of contemporary thinking, utilising in depth insight for digital strategy and content advertising. They are also dedicated to sustainability and foregrounding a brand purpose, which means the work we do with them requires working creative thinking into every brief, regardless of scale.Ā Ā
As a Copywriter you will be an integral part of the team. You will need to combine deep understanding of the trends and concerns inherent to the beauty industry with a varied skill set that will include copywriting, investigative research, script writing, conceptualĀ thinkingĀ and content project planning. The role will primarily involve writing for digital/web:Ā youāllĀ help brands fit their tone of voice to this landscape and advise on contentĀ thatāllĀ powerfully connect with consumers. To do thisĀ youāllĀ need to be an expert storyteller able to find interesting and engaging ways of dramatizing subject matters, extremely digitally savvy and comfortable writing with SEO in mind.Ā Ā
YouāllĀ also occasionally be asked to team up with other client creatives to help conceptualise larger projects (I.E.Ā videos, key visuals, social media campaigns). And due to the nature of OLIVERās in-house agency modelĀ youāllĀ also need to be confident interacting directly with clients.Ā Ā

What you will be doing:Ā Ā
- Write,Ā researchĀ and conceptualise creative, innovative content that brings readership and encourages sharingĀ Ā
- Write short and long form articlesĀ Ā
- Repurpose existing content for different usesĀ Ā
- Master a variety of brand voicesĀ Ā
- Work closely with clients to create strong concepts fromĀ initialĀ briefing through to executionĀ Ā
- Set tone and drive creativity, working closely with the Creative Director-Copy(CD/ Account Director) and Data Strategists to ensure creative excellenceĀ Ā
- Maintain a high awareness of relevant trending topics and news toĀ identifyĀ content opportunitiesĀ Ā
- Be responsible forĀ working with internal teams to gather input andĀ validateĀ the contentĀ Ā
- Ensure consistency and quality across all written contentĀ Ā
- Present and articulate concepts to clientsāÆĀ Ā

What you will need to be great in this role:Ā Ā
- 4+years strong experience writing for digital. Must be comfortable creating content with SEO in mindĀ Ā
- A background in a corporate or journalism environmentĀ Ā
- A thorough understanding of the language and needs inherent to writing for beauty brandsĀ Ā
- Experience of publishing through social media channels and content management systemsĀ Ā
- A powerful grasp of how content can play out across multiple mediumsĀ Ā
- Able to use data and insight to inform creativeĀ Ā
- A flair for wordsĀ Ā
- The ability to think conceptually when needed. Experience working as part of a traditional creative team (designer and copywriter) would be helpfulĀ Ā
- Demonstrated ability to combine and translate complex material fromĀ different sourcesĀ and contexts into stories and content that engage and resonate with target audiencesĀ Ā
- Confident presenting and communicating clearly to other team members and clients.Ā Ā
- Passion for and inquisitive about AI andĀ new technologiesĀ Ā Ā
- Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is criticalĀ
