Responsibilities

This position is accountable for the supervision of staff in CT, MRI and CT-guided Special Procedures and the consultations with attending medical staff for the care of in-house, out-patient and private ambulatory patients including the coordination of department equipment for appropriate utilization. The end result is to provide optimal and appropriate patient care both medically and technically.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for Radiologic Technology
• Licensed for New York State in Radiologic technology including permit for injections; 
• Registered or eligible by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; 
• Advanced Certification CT from ARRT, eligible Special Procedure, and MRI is preferred; 
• 4 years experience in Cat Scan and Interventional Radiology
