The Role: As a Delivery Associate for SJ Logistics, you are the face of our company. You will pilot our modern fleet—including Rivian Electric Vehicles (EVs),  Step Vans, and standard cargo vans—delivering Amazon packages out of DSJ5 (Fresno).

Daily Responsibilities:

• Diverse Routes: You will navigate a mix of environments, including residential neighborhoods, business districts, apartment complexes, and country roads throughout the Central Valley (Fresno, Merced, and surrounding areas).
• Load & Organize: Load your van at the station and keep packages organized for efficient delivery.
• Safety First: Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines. Our "Hands-On" ownership team is here to support you, not just monitor you.
• Stay Active: This is a physical job. You will walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and climb in and out of the vehicle repeatedly throughout your shift.

Schedule & Shift:

• Start Time: 11:00 AM (Subject to change based on operational needs).
• Operation: We operate 7 days a week. Weekend availability is required.
  

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting Pay: $22.25/hour + Overtime.
• Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance available for full-time employees.

• Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrue vacation time starting Day 1.
• Paid Training: We provide the vehicle, fuel, uniform, and full training.

Basic Requirements:

• Age: Must be  21 years of age.
• License: Must have a valid CA Driver's License. (No CDL required).
• Work Authorization: Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Driving History: Must have a safe driving record.
• Screening: Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift: Able to lift packages up to 50 lbs.
• Move: Able to get in and out of a van 200+ times a day.
• Navigate: Comfortable using a smartphone for GPS and delivery apps.

Schedule:

• Weekends: Must be available to work weekends.
• Reliability: Punctuality is strictly enforced.

Compensation & Perks:

• Starting Pay: $22.25/hour (paid bi-weekly).
• Overtime: Paid overtime rates (time and a half) for hours over 8 in a day or 40 in a week.
• Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance available for eligible full-time employees.

• Paid Time Off: Accrue PTO starting from your first day.
