About this role
Overview
As a DevSecOps Architect, you will work with our growing DevSecOps practice delivering features to support cloud and application development. We are looking for candidates with 8-10 years of experience with cloud platform services and DevSecOps practices such as build/release management, CI/CD practices, and process automation. You will act as both technical visionary and be responsible for hands-on delivery.Â

Contributions
Responsibilities include:Â
- Establishing development tools and infrastructure for automationÂ
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developersÂ
- Automating and improving development, testing, deployment, and release processesÂ
- Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing resultsÂ
- Performing root cause analysis on complex business processes and technical components.Â
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threatsÂ
- Identifying technical problems, performing root cause analysis, and developing software updates and âfixesâÂ
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intendedÂ
- Supporting enterprise Cloud applications or infrastructure through infrastructure as code including any activities around automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, and monitoring and testing, such as CI/CD Â
- Documenting as-is state of the environment, performing a gap analysis, and producing artifacts that articulate options and recommendations Â
- Leveraging virtualization and containerization to optimize and modernize software systemsÂ
- Acting as an individual contributor and mentor team membersÂ
- Engineering and implementing solutions and providing recommendations for continuous improvement for the services providedÂ
- Presenting regular status updates and providing cross-training to other DevOps team members.Â

Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security ClearanceÂ
- Bachelorâs Degree in an IT-related field and 10+ years of experienceÂ
- 8+ years of experience with one or more clouds (i.e. AWS, Azure, or GCP)Â
- 8+ years of experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, BitbucketÂ
- 8+ years of experience with one or more programming or scripting languagesÂ
- 8+ years of experience implementing DevSecOps practices within an Agile development environmentÂ
- 3+ years of experience implementing containerization and orchestration using Docker and KubernetesÂ
- 8+ years of experience implementing infrastructure as code and orchestration using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AnsibleÂ
- 8+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, TravisCIÂ
- Experience implementing and managing industry-standard DevSecOps tools across the SDLCÂ
- Experience integrating test automation including performance, security, and functional tests into CI/CD pipelinesÂ
Preferred:
- MS Degree in an IT-related fieldÂ
- Certifications:Â
- AWS Certified DevOps EngineerÂ
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect â ProfessionalÂ
- Microsoft Certified:Â DevOps Engineer ExpertÂ
- SAFe DevOps CertificationÂ
- Experience implementing automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium)Â
- Experience with documenting an as-is state of the environment, performing a gap analysis, and producing artifacts that articulate options and recommendationsÂ
- Experience with scripting in languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or RubyÂ
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, and collaborative skillsÂ

The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $190,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
