Summary:
The Ukiah Daily Journal is looking for a reliable, Full-Time Route Delivery Driver. Based out of Ukiah, you will drive a company vehicle to pick up newspapers, sort them, and get them ready for our local delivery carriers.

Shift Details: Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Full-Time)
What you will do:
Routinely drive company vehicle to/from, Lakeport and Ukiah
Travel to Bay Area (Concord) once a week
Pick up/deliver papers to distribution sites
Sort and label papers to distribute to carriers
Work is essentially outdoors, and involves exposure to all weather and road conditions
What you will bring:
Regular and reliable attendance
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
Basic computer skills (email, entering time and expenses)
Good driving record
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and requires the ability to lift/carry papers
Benefits and Compensation:
The hourly wage is $16.90 or required city/county minimum wage + Cell stipend. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, the Company offers eligible employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, as well as paid time off and select paid holidays (all benefits are based on eligibility). Conditions of Employment:

Travel – This position entails occasional driving for work assignments, in-person training sessions and/or meetings. The employee will be responsible for transporting themselves between different sites as needed
