Early years Arabic Teacher AY26-27

Westview International Languages school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Arabic Teacher for the Academic Year 2026-2027 to join our team at GEMS International School Cairo. This role involves delivering the Arabic language curriculum to young learners, fostering their language development and cultural appreciation in an engaging and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Arabic lessons suitable for Early Years students, aligned with curriculum standards.
• Create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment to encourage student participation and enthusiasm for learning Arabic.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning needs and styles.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their language development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure consistent student support and communication.
• Maintain classroom order and promote positive behavior among students.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Education, or a related field.
• Experience teaching Arabic to young children, preferably in the Early Years stage.
• Strong command of the Arabic language, both spoken and written.
• Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with young learners.
• Familiarity with early childhood education best practices and safeguarding standards.
