The Educational Equality Institute, an NGO based in Norway committed to educating and thereby empowering disadvantaged girls.

In response to the war in Ukraine, we started the project: β€œTogether for Ukraine”.

Free educational programs where we, together with our partners, will help 100.000 Ukrainians shape their future through education, upskilling, and employment.

We are looking for a volunteer Fundraising Specialist who is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of fundraising campaigns and activities at TEEI.

Role Scope

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies that align with TEEI's mission and goals.
  • Arrange meetings with partners and communicate regularly with them to maintain strong partnerships and explore potential collaborations.
  • Research and identify potential new partners, and develop strategies to build relationships with them.
  • Explore innovative and effective ways to generate funding for the NGO, including researching and identifying new fundraising strategies.
  • Track fundraising progress, analyze data, and report results to senior leadership.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and communications, to ensure fundraising efforts align with overall organizational goals.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with donors and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with fundraising software, online platforms, and other tools to support fundraising efforts (Salesforce, Classy, Fundly, Everydayhero, Bloomerang, DonorPerfect, Mailchimp, etc.)
  • Willingness to identify opportunities to automate and streamline fundraising processes, and implement tools and software to make fundraising efforts more efficient.
