We are seeking an entry level Graduate Architect to join our growing team in the Austin, TX office. 

 

In this position you will work on an projects of all types and sizes in various public and private markets. Qualified individuals must have a strong work ethic, organizational skills, a desire to grow as a professional, and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of architectural documents including plans, specifications, visualizations, and reports;• Generate designs and visualizations using Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Twinmotion, and Adobe Creative Suite

Qualifications

5-year professional Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Architecture and on licensure track; • Proficiency in Autodesk REVIT;• Strong work ethic;• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as an integral part of the team;• Good verbal communication and technical writing skills.

 

Additional minimum qualifications include: 

0-3 years' experience working in an Architectural firmTake personal pride to succeed at any task undertaken and show a willingness to learnInterest in professional growth within a design-oriented studio setting offering a comfortable and equitable working environmentTalent and experience are both strongly considered

Passion for innovation and a desire to implement sustainable and resilient design solutions leveraging the latest industry technology

The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Work is performed in an office setting.  Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate a computer, keyboard and mouse.  Use of a telephone headset will allow for virtual communication with team members through Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to sit for prolonged periods, use hands/fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms, speak and hear.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
