Scope of Position: The Guest Room Attendant is able to work independently and without direct supervision. The Guest Room Attendant ensures the highest quality guest experience by cleaning and preparing the buildings of the WinShape Foundation including guest rooms, public areas, offices, and other locations on the mountain campus. Â

Reports to: Team Leader, Housekeeping and Laundry

Responsibilities
- Cleans guest rooms, performs stayovers, turnovers, and checkouts as assigned within standard guidelines for cleaningÂ
- Cleans public areas and offices as assigned within standard guidelines for cleaningÂ
- Reports work orders via Facilities work order systemÂ
- Performs quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time limitsÂ
- Inspects storage rooms and room attendant carts for neatness, cleanliness, adequate supplies, and good repairÂ
- Inspects public areas and guest rooms and trains new housekeepersÂ
- Performs seasonal deep cleaning of facilities as neededÂ
- Performs other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Leadership Â
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferredÂ
- 0 to 3 years previous housekeeping experienceÂ
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving recordÂ
- Ability to stand, bend, stretch, climb stairs, and do much walkingÂ
- Ability to lift up to 25 poundsÂ
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a teamÂ
- Self-discipline and attention to detailÂ
- Basic understanding of computer skills and/or knowledge of a property management system or housekeeping systemÂ
- Commitment to being present at appropriate times to work - all shifts, all daysÂ
- Exhibit the following competencies: dependability, team player, job knowledge, initiative, problem solvingÂ
