About this role

Across Europe, fleets are under enormous pressure. Fuel costs are rising. Regulatory requirements are tightening. The shift to low-emission vehicles is accelerating. And yet around 70% of European businesses still manage their fleets manually, with spreadsheets, disconnected tools, and processes that were never built for this moment.

Shiftmove exists to make this process simple. We are a profitable B2B SaaS company and the fastest-growing fleet management platform in Europe, born from the merger of Avrios and Vimcar, and now serving over tens of thousands of corporate customers across Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, and beyond. Our AI-powered platform connects real-time vehicle data with intelligent software so that businesses can procure smarter, control costs, stay compliant, and lead the transition to cleaner mobility, all from one place.

We have a clear goal: one million vehicles managed on our platform by 2027. We are already at 730,000. The next chapter is about execution, and that is where you come in.

The Role

Right now, our BI function has solid foundations. Tableau reporting works. Snowflake is in place. The data infrastructure is there. What we do not yet have is a leader who can take that foundation and build something fundamentally more valuable, a BI function that is fast, analytical, AI-enabled, and genuinely trusted by the business.

Today, the team operates on a ticket-and-sprint model. The report comes back. It works, but it is slow, reactive, and not what the business needs at this stage of growth. The business has a clear mandate: move from reactive reporting to proactive intelligence. From dashboards that describe the past to insight that shapes decisions. From a team that closes tickets to a team that the commercial leadership actually leans on. That transformation starts with this hire. You will report to the VP Operations and lead a team of Analysts and a Programme Manager. Your remit covers the full commercial intelligence layer and KPI governance across a multi-market business.

What You Will Own

  • The operating model of the BI function, how the team works, what it prioritises, and how it is perceived across the business
  • Revenue and ARR reporting, pipeline analytics, churn and retention analysis, and customer lifecycle intelligence
  • Executive reporting, clear, confident, and backed by rigorous analysis
  • KPI governance across the GTM organisation, definitions, consistency, and the single source of truth
  • The shift from ticket-driven reporting to agile, analytically-led intelligence
  • AI and automation strategy for the BI function, embedded into how the team operates
  • People development, the analysts on your team are capable; they need direction, standards, and someone to grow them into business partners

What the First 6 Months Might Look Like

  • Get into the reporting cadence. Understand how the business actually uses data today, where the trust gaps are, and what the team is capable of. Start forming your view on where to change things first
  • Begin shifting the operating model. Introduce structure where there is none. Start repositioning the team as analytical partners rather than report producers. Make the first meaningful changes to how insight reaches stakeholders
  • You are driving. The team has direction. Stakeholders are noticing the difference. You are setting the agenda for what comes next

Who are you

  • You have run a BI function before, built something, raised standards, and changed how a business uses data
  • You have done this with AI, you have introduced AI-enabled workflows into a BI function at scale, automation, insight generation, self-service, and you have a clear point of view on where it goes next
  • You build governance that sticks. You know how to define KPIs, align stakeholders around a single source of truth, and make it hold across a complex, multi-market business
  • You are commercially minded and can hold your own with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps, but your edge is leadership and transformation, not GTM depth
  • You can review analytical logic, challenge assumptions, and know when something is wrong, even if you are not the one writing the SQL day to day.
  • You raise standards, you develop people. You know how to earn trust with executives who are used to data letting them down
  • You are not coming here to figure it out. You have already done a version of this, and you are ready to do it better

Why Join Us

  • You are not limited to GTM. You are shaping how the entire business defines and analyses what matters
  • A company with a measurable mission: one million vehicles, cleaner fleets, a category being built in real time
  • Buy-and-build context, M&A exposure, and the complexity of a multi-market business at scale
  • PE-backed and profitable, your work directly influences how the business is valued and how decisions get made at the top

Benefits

  • Vacation: 30 days
  • Workation: Up to 6 weeks per year working remotely from anywhere in the world
