We have an opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager for kildare .
The Senior Health & Safey Manager provides direct operational support to project teams, ensuring health, safety, environment, quality and wellbeing standards are applied consistently on site.

Responsibilities
Safety LeadershipÂ
Lead and manage the health and safety function on assigned projectsÂ
Provide advice and direction to project managers, engineers and supervisors on safety requirementsÂ
Ensure safety is embedded in planning, delivery and close-out stages of the projectÂ
Compliance and Risk ManagementÂ
Ensure full compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and company proceduresÂ
Lead the development and review of project safety plans, risk assessments and method statementsÂ
Carry out regular inspections, audits and incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implementedÂ
Monitor subcontractor compliance and provide support where requiredÂ
Culture and EngagementÂ
Promote a culture of safety through visible leadership and engagement with project teamsÂ
Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks and training sessions to staff and subcontractorsÂ
Encourage open communication on safety issues and ensure lessons learned are sharedÂ
Reporting and AssuranceÂ
Prepare and present regular safety reports to project and business unit leadershipÂ
Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, near misses and corrective actionsÂ
Support the BU Head of Safety in ensuring consistency of reporting and performance trackingÂ
Experience
EssentialÂ
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice in constructionÂ
Proven experience in managing health and safety on large construction projectsÂ
Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to engage all levels of staffÂ
Excellent organisational, reporting and communication skillsÂ
Ability to identify, assess and manage risks in dynamic project environmentsÂ
DesirableÂ
Experience working with Tier 1 contractors or on complex infrastructure, life sciences or data centre projectsÂ
Familiarity with digital tools for safety reporting and performance trackingÂ
Knowledge of occupational health and behavioural safety initiativesÂ
Qualifications
EssentialÂ
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in occupational health and safetyÂ
Professional membership of IOSH or equivalent bodyÂ
Demonstrated experience in managing safety teams or site-based safety professionalsÂ
DesirableÂ
Postgraduate qualification in health and safety, risk management or related disciplineÂ
Additional training in behavioural safety or leadership coachingÂ
Experience in environmental and sustainability aspects of project deliveryÂ
