Key responsibilities
- Install fire sprinkler pipework systems within large industrial environments
- Install plant equipment including fire pumps, valves and pumphouse pipework
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on systems such as fire pumps and sprinkler alarm valves
- Install and repair carbon steel, ductile iron and PVC pipework
- Diagnose and resolve on-site technical issues efficiently
- Promote and maintain high health and safety standards on site
- Deliver high-quality service while working closely with construction and project teams
Required
- Previous experience working on construction sites
- Qualification in fitting, plumbing, fabrication or a related trade
- Strong understanding of pipework systems, components and assembly
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and how they operate
- Experience working to safety standards on large-scale construction sites
Desirable
- Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, Working at Height and MEWP certifications
- Basic computer skills for online site inductions
- Experience with pipework threading and grooving
- Strong communication skills with a reliable, organised approach to work
