About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Mid-Market Sales Manager to lead, mentor, and scale our Mid-Market Account Executive team in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. This is a high-impact role where you will shape the Mid-Market sales strategy, drive consistent revenue growth, and foster a culture of performance, accountability, and collaboration. This role is based in our The Hague office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Mid‑Market sales strategy, including segmentation, forecasting, pipeline generation and management, and territory planning.
  • Set clear performance goals and KPIs, and regularly review team progress, providing coaching and support where needed.
  • Take a proactive, solution‑oriented approach to problem‑solving and adapt effectively to change.
  • Demonstrate resilience and persistence in working towards ambitious, agreed objectives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, Channel Sales and Product teams to ensure alignment and effective feedback loops.
  • Ensure consistency in sales processes, tools and the application of sales methodologies.
  • Hire, onboard and support the development of new sales team members, building a strong pipeline of future sales leaders.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on pipeline and revenue to senior and executive leadership.
  • Support the team by joining strategic customer opportunities and helping to remove obstacles to progress.
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating the company’s values through day‑to‑day behaviours and contributions to long‑term organisational goals.

The ideal candidate has

  • At least 5 years’ experience leading and developing B2B SaaS sales teams, ideally within the Mid‑Market segment (1,000+ employees).
  • Experience leading a consultative sales process within a complex SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategy, forecasting, pipeline management and pipeline generation.
  • A track record of consistently achieving agreed revenue targets.
  • Strong coaching, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to support and enable team performance.
  • A solid understanding of modern sales methodologies and CRM best practices.
  • Experience working collaboratively across functions such as Marketing, Pre‑Sales, Partners and Customer Success.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to translate strategy into effective operational execution.
  • Clear communication skills in written, verbal and presentation formats.
  • Fluent Dutch and English (business level or higher) and already based in the Netherlands.
