Organization Overview

Transportation Technology:
The Transportation Technology team develops processes to ensure accurate and fast delivery, working closely with large-scale freight and transportation companies to make sure every shipment reaches the right destination. Engineers in Coupang’s Transportation Technology team play a key role in driving innovation by responding to rapidly changing business needs while keeping the big picture and long-term company goals in mind. Expansion and growth are critical objectives, providing opportunities to enter new markets and leave a lasting impact.

Fulfillment Technologies:
The Fulfillment Technologies team manages end-to-end processes within fulfillment centers, building systems to improve efficiency in receiving, shelving, inventory, picking, and shipping. The team aims to deliver fast and accurate services to customers by introducing cutting-edge logistics processes and automation. We focus on providing specialized, user-centric services and applying new technologies to build innovative processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Tech Lead within the Global Ops Tech organization across the entire software development lifecycle.
• Act as a key participant in architecture reviews for new platforms, services, and solutions within Coupang.
• Lead company-wide projects as a technical leader.
• Be a trusted problem solver for technical challenges within Global Ops Tech and across Coupang.
• Collaborate with project owners, stakeholders, and designers to improve or implement new applications.
• Continuously pursue improvements in practices to meet industry-standard expectations for quality and timelines.
• Share best practices and drive process improvements across agile teams, enhancing engineering productivity and advancing technical depth and breadth within the team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience working within engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
• 10+ years of experience designing and developing complex financial systems.
• 5+ years of experience designing and building scalable, high-performance platforms and data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge and experience with big data stacks (e.g., Cassandra, Kafka, Spark, Flink, Hive, S3, Redshift) and NoSQL databases for large-scale data streaming and near real-time processing.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework, with extensive experience in AWS environments.
• Proven experience collaborating with multiple teams to define mission, vision, and roadmap.
• Experience working closely with product and program management teams.

Fulfilment Technologies팀은 물류센터의 전반적인 프로세스를 통합 관리하며, 입고, 진열, 재고, 집품, 출고 등 물류센터 업무 효율을 높이기 위한 프로세스를 구축합니다. 또한 최신 물류 프로세스를 도입하고 업무 자동화를 구축하여 고객에게 빠르고 정확한 서비스를 제공하여 사용자 관점의 특화된 서비스를 제공하고, 새로운 프로세스를 구축하기 위해 다양한 신기술을 적용하는 것을 목표로 합니다.

업무 내용

• 소프트웨어 개발 라이프사이클 전반에 걸쳐 Global Ops Tech 조직의 테크리드로 역할
• 쿠팡 내 신규 플랫폼, 서비스, 솔루션 진행 시 아키텍처 리뷰의 핵심 참가자로 기여
• 전사 프로젝트를 추진하는 테크 리드
• Global Ops Tech 조직 및 쿠팡 내에서 발생하는 기술적 문제에 대한 믿음직한 해결사
• 프로젝트 오너, 스테이크 홀더, 디자이너들과 협력하여 어플리케이션 개선 또는 신규 구현
• 업계에서 필수 수준이라 기대되는 품질/시간을 충족시키는데 필요한 지속적인 프랙티스 개선을 성실히 추구
• 팀 내 애자일 조직 전반에 걸친 베스트 프랙티스 공유와 프로세스 개선, 그리고 이를 통한 엔지니어링 생산성 향상, 기술적인 폭과 깊이를 끌어올림으로써 팀의 발전 도모

자격 조건

• 빠르게 변화하는 환경 속 엔지니어링 팀 내에서 직접 근무한 경험 10년 이상
• 복잡한 금융 시스템 설계 및 개발 경력 10년 이상
• 확장 가능한 고성능 플랫폼 및 데이터 파이프라인을 설계하고 구축한 경험 5년 이상
• 방대한 양의 데이터 스트리밍 및 실시간에 가까운 데이터 처리에 필요한 빅데이터 스택(Cassandra, Kafka, Spark, Flink, Hive, S3, Redshift 등의 NoSQL 데이터베이스) 관련 탄탄한 지식 및 경험
• Java 및 Spring Framework를 활용한 개발 지식 및 AWS 환경에서의 경험 다수
• 미션, 비전, 로드맵 정의를 위해 여러 부서의 팀과 협업한 경험
• 프로덕트 및 프로그램 관리 팀과 협력한 경험
