Coupang Fulfillment Transportation Systems 

The Fulfillment Transportation Systems Tech organization within Global Operations Technology is responsible for systems that enable Coupang to reliably deliver customer orders within hours of order placement. Transportation Tech is on a mission to transform Last Miles by building an efficient Trans ecosystem that operates at groundbreaking scale and speed. We can drive technology direction, successfully advocate for collaboration with other technology leaders and stakeholders, influence and build trust with teams, and execute complex system delivery with consideration for scalability, future scalability, and reliability. We are looking for an experienced and passionate engineering leader. As the organization in charge of Coupang's Last Miles, we develop solutions and provide products for the systems used by those who directly deliver within Coupang and the managers who manage them. In addition, we provide Admin and Mobile WebView to allocate supplies to Coupang Friends and Coupang Flex workers and manage Coupang Flex's work, meta information, and settlement information. 

The candidate will be part of the Coupang Delivery Technology team and will be responsible for developing and operating solutions for systems and terminals used by delivery people and managers within Coupang. 

Key Responsibilities:   

• Sr, Staff front-end engineers are technology leaders and participate in major technology improvement projects.
• After understanding the overall and details of the Coupang GOT web platform and identifying areas for improvement, we present an architecture-level solution.
• Additionally, we will create a roadmap with other engineers and implement technological improvements step by step, and smooth communication to align with other developers or organizations will be essential in this process.
• By collaborating closely with the Product Owner / Designer / Stakeholder, we simplify complex business requirements and complete them into a high-level front-end design to support multiple repeated tests with minimal development costs.
• There are places that require a variety of front-end developer capabilities, such as pages that require handling and visualization of large amounts of data.
• We serve as mentors for members within the organization and help them improve their individual capabilities. 

Skills and Qualifications:   

• 10+ years of experience working in basic algorithms, system design, and large-scale distributed systems.
• 12+ years of professional coding experience using modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Typescript, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work in an agile development environment and meet tight deadlines. 

Preferred:   

• Experience working in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
• Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, and describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy. 
• Experience influencing software engineering best practices within your team Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, ranging from front-end user interfaces and all points in between Experience working backward from the customer and delivering innovative, simple solutions
