About the BA Program

The BA Program is designed to identify and develop the next generation of high-potential talent at Cobre. As a Junior BA, you'll work directly on high-impact projects across Product, Data, and Engineering teams, learning analytical, strategic, and technical skills while contributing to real business outcomes from day one.

We're looking for curious, analytical, and proactive individuals who want to grow fast and take ownership.

What You'll Do

Solve problems with data: You'll investigate business questions, identify the right data to use, write SQL queries to extract insights, and support your team in making data-driven decisions—even when the data isn't perfect or complete.

Drive projects forward: You'll manage your own workstreams, communicate progress and risks clearly, deliver quality work on time, and ensure your tasks ladder up to company priorities.

Build and automate: You'll identify manual processes that can be improved, leverage AI tools for analysis and problem-solving, and work closely with technical teams to document requirements and implement solutions.

Learn and grow: You'll receive mentorship from experienced team members, gain exposure to cross-functional projects, and develop skills in analytics, business strategy, and technical execution.

What We're Looking For

Must-have:

• 0–2 years of experience in analytical roles (Product, Data, Consulting, Operations, Engineering, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and structured thinking
• Basic SQL and Excel/Sheets experience—or strong willingness to learn quickly
• Experience with AI LLMs products for research, data analysis,  ideating and writing work (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini…)
• You ask yourself how to automate a task with AI before actually doing it.
• Clear and concise communication skills in both Spanish and English
• Curiosity, proactivity, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for help

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Sigma, Metabase)
• Basic knowledge of Python, statistics, or business modeling
• Experience with AI automation workflows like n8n or make.
• Previous experience in startups, fintechs, or fast-paced environments
