- Our team builds cutting-edge, peer-reviewed science, combining climate projections and remote sensing data to quantify what physical risk actually costs: the hit to asset values, business operations and the disruption when critical infrastructure fails. Customers across financial services use those numbers to identify, manage, and mitigate risk with audit-grade confidence, not black-box scores.

As a Post-Sales Solutions Engineer, you’ll own the customer journey from implementation to expansion. You’ll ensure smooth onboarding, robust integrations, and lasting success for our global banking, asset management, private equity and advisory clients. You will:
- Own technical discovery for expansion — conduct ongoing discovery within existing accounts to uncover new use cases, expansion, and integration opportunities. Create technical roadmaps that map customer objectives to Climate X capabilities.
- Partner on account strategy — work closely with Customer Success Managers on expansion prioritisation, account planning, and QBRs. Provide technical qualification and strategic insights that inform forecasting.
- Lead complex implementations — drive implementations including multi-entity configurations and advanced feature deployments. Create parallel work-streams to accelerate time-to-value and monitor implementation health proactively.
- Run live technical consultations — lead troubleshooting calls and configuration sessions with confidence. Demonstrate composure during high-pressure escalations and adapt technical depth based on your audience in real-time.
- Be the Voice of the Customer — channel technical feedback, integration requirements, and product gaps to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities.
- Manage technical escalations — own the Technical Solutions queue for complex configurations and troubleshooting. Maintain SLAs for response and resolution, document issues comprehensively, and escalate to R&D teams with complete context.
- Build the playbook — create implementation guides, expansion frameworks, and reusable assets. Mentor new team members and deliver internal training as the SE function scales.
What we’re looking for 3+ years in solution engineering, post-sales, implementation, forward deployed engineering, professional services, or analytics roles serving financial institutions or enterprise customers. You don't need to be a perfect fit across every dimension. The ideal candidate should have strong demonstrated aptitude or hands-on experience across a mix of these.
Technical
- You've built real things: data pipelines, API integrations, automation scripts, or AI-assisted workflows. You can own a piece of code end-to-end, reading the docs, handling the edge cases, and delivering something a client can actually use.
- Fluent with data tools. You use Python and SQL for messy datasets, Excel for customer-facing work, and you have the judgment to pick the right tool for the job.
- Comfortable reasoning about APIs, data models, and integration patterns at the level needed to own a customer implementation end to end.
- Exposure to AI tooling is a plus. That includes building with LLMs, prototyping agent workflows, or applying AI to data problems.
- Working knowledge of one or more of these areas: climate physical risk, ESG and sustainability reporting, real estate or mortgage risk, or banking and asset management investment workflows.
- Genuine curiosity about climate change and the financial system’s response to it.
Customer Facing
- You’ve worked directly with technical and executive customer stakeholders post-sale or in an advisory context. You can run onboarding, navigate change inside a customer organisation, and build trust through complex problems.
- You can tell a compelling story with data, moving from raw inputs to insight to executive recommendation.
- Comfortable context switching between non-technical and technical audiences.
- You know how to delineate between commercial Customer Success and technical Solution Engineering inside a pod, and you operate cleanly across that line.
- Flexibility with travel for customer visits.
Nice to Have
- Experience at a B2B Saas or fintech scale-up.
- Familiarity with Hubspot, JIRA, Planhat, Postman, AWS or similar GTM and implementation tooling
- Prior work with geospatial data, hazard models, or property and asset-level data.
