Head of West Scale-Up

This role requires business-level proficiency in Korean and English and availability to relocate to Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

We are KRAFTON – a collective of independent game development studios brought together to create innovative and engaging entertainment experiences for gamers across the world.

Based in Amsterdam, the West Scale-up Team serves as a central operational strategy and PMO function connecting KRAFTON Headquarters with regional publishing organizations across the EU, CIS, MENA, and LATAM markets. The team leads cross-regional initiatives, supports scalable publishing operating models, and drives operational alignment across diverse western markets.

Basic Roles and Responsibilities:

• This role leads a highly cross-functional team responsible for scaling publishing operations and operational frameworks across western regions in close collaboration with HQ and regional stakeholders.
• Lead and manage the West Scale-up Team, including goal setting, execution management, and team development
• Collaborate with HQ and regional organizations to align publishing strategies and operational priorities
• Coordinate cross-regional initiatives, resource planning, and scalable operating frameworks across multiple western markets
• Drive workflow automation, operational intelligence, and AI-assisted process improvements in collaboration with AI Ops and related teams
• Monitor business priorities, operational risks, and market changes to support strategic decision-making
• Facilitate communication and alignment between HQ, regional publishing teams, and related stakeholders
• Support organizational scalability and operational excellence initiatives across global publishing functions

Required experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing, or related fields
• Significant experience in game publishing, service operations, project management, strategy, consulting, or related areas
• Proven experience in cross-functional and multi-region collaboration
• Strong leadership, communication, and execution management skills
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex cross-functional environments
• Business-level proficiency in both English and Korean
• Experience in organizational transformation, operational innovation, or AI-driven workflow initiatives
• Strong understanding of games, player communities, and global publishing environment
• Willingness to travel across Europe and internationally as needed.
• This role is primarily office-based in Amsterdam and requires regular on-site collaboration

“Nice to have” experience:

• Experience in western market publishing strategy and operations
• Experience working with AI Ops, data-driven operations, or process improvement initiatives
• Leadership experience within global matrix organizations
• Experience managing large-scale cross-functional publishing or operational projects
• Experience in strategic planning, business transformation, and scalable operational framework design within complex global organization
