HVAC Technician – Telecom Infrastructure

Pearce is hiring experienced HVAC Technicians across the Midwest and Northeast regions to support critical telecom infrastructure.

In this role, you’ll service and repair commercial HVAC systems that cool and protect cell tower shelters and telecom equipment. These systems are essential to keeping communication networks online.

What You Will Do

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems at telecom sites

  • Perform preventative maintenance and system performance checks

  • Install and replace HVAC components or complete system upgrades

  • Respond to service calls, including occasional emergency call-outs

  • Complete accurate digital work reports daily

  • Travel extensively throughout your assigned region

  • Follow all safety standards and regulatory requirements


Who You Are

  • EPA Universal or Level II Certification (Required)

  • 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience preferred

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems

  • Comfortable working independently in the field

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and email)

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT physical


Work Environment & Travel

This is a field-based role working at telecom and infrastructure sites.

  • Daily travel to job sites with some overnight depending on your location and work

  • Must be available for after-hours or weekend service calls
  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions

  • Lift up to 50 pounds
