(Senior) Mobile App Engineer (m/w/d)

GALVANY-Tech drives the energy transition through software. We're building an AI-based Operating System for sales, planning, installation and operation of heat pumps and integrated energy systems – from single-family homes to multi-unit buildings, and across our Energy Community as a Virtual Power Plant.

The Role

As a Mobile App Engineer at GALVANY, you'll build and maintain the mobile applications that put our AI-based Operating System in users' hands. You'll create intuitive, performant experiences for installers in the field and homeowners managing their energy systems – with a strong emphasis on design quality and real-world usability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter with a focus on performance and user experience.

• Collaborate closely with Design to translate Figma specs into polished, native-feeling implementations.

• Integrate with backend APIs and ensure reliable data synchronization, including offline scenarios.

• Optimize for mobile constraints: battery, network, permissions, and app store guidelines.

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development with quick-prototypes and explore innovative mobile solutions.

• Take ownership of features from implementation through deployment and iteration.

Tech Stack: Mobile with Flutter; Backend with GoLang and Laravel; Frontend with React, Tailwind, and Shadcn; General tools including Azure, GitHub, Linear, Notion.

Requirements

• Experience. 4+ years of experience in high-performance environments (e.g. top-tier consulting, fast-scaling startups, or similar).

• Track Record. Proven end-to-end responsibility in mobile app development. From ideation to release.

• Background. Strong background in relevant fields, e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.

• Technical Skills. Strong coding skills with proficiency in Flutter/Dart. Eye for UI detail and experience implementing designs with high fidelity. Fluent in spec-driven, AI-assisted development (e.g. Claude Code).

• Mindset. Self-driven problem-solving mindset – no need for micromanagement or specific tickets.

• Technical Aptitude. Technical mindset with a passion for understanding systems, data flows, and integrations, coupled with enthusiasm for continuous learning and problem solving.

• Language. Fluent in English; German is a plus.
