ROLE

We're seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable HubSpot Specialist to join Nexus Marketing's growing HubSpot practice. In this role, you'll help manage HubSpot instances for a variety of businesses that serve the mission-driven sector — nonprofits, associations, healthcare organizations, and education groups.

This is a hands-on implementation role focused on helping clients get the most out of their Marketing, Operations, and Sales hubs. You'll build and maintain workflows, campaigns, reporting, and integrations, keep client data clean and reliable, and support onboarding as new clients come into HubSpot. While the work is primarily implementation-focused, you'll also join client calls to explain your work, walk through results, and make sure clients understand the value being delivered.

This is an ideal role for a junior-to-mid-level marketer or operations specialist who's comfortable in HubSpot (or eager to go deep), enjoys solving problems inside a platform, and can communicate clearly with clients. Experience in a single hub is a great starting point — we'll help you grow across the rest.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and maintain HubSpot instances across Marketing, Operations, and Sales hubs for a range of client accounts

  • Build and optimize workflows, automations, email campaigns, and lead scoring

  • Create and maintain reporting and dashboards that give clients clear visibility into performance

  • Keep client data clean and organized through ongoing data hygiene and management

  • Support onboarding and migration as new clients are set up in HubSpot

  • Configure and troubleshoot integrations between HubSpot and adjacent tools

  • Build and manage landing pages, forms, and CMS content as needed

  • Join client calls to explain implementations, walk through results, and answer questions

  • Collaborate with account managers and internal teams to ensure work meets client goals and quality standards

  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines across several client accounts simultaneously

SETUP

  • This is a work-from-home setup

  • Target of 42.5 billable hours per week

This role follows a consistent daily rhythm that aligns with US Eastern business hours while giving you time for rest, personal tasks, and balance throughout your day.

Here’s what a typical day looks like:

  • Start your day with a 4.5-hour work block: 9:30am–2:00pm (PHT)

  • Enjoy your afternoon free: 2:00pm–8:00pm (PHT)

  • Finish your workday with another 4.5-hour block: 8:00pm–12:30am (PHT)

  • Sleep/rest: 12:30am–9:30am (PHT)

This structure offers a long midday break while supporting strong collaboration with US-based teams during their business hours.

  • Work-from-home setup

Note: All of these times would shift 1 hour later when the time difference switches to 13 hour differences from 12 hour differences

REQUIREMENTS

  • Based in the Philippines with consistent availability for a long-term role

  • Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong academic background with an outstanding General Weighted Average

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field

  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot in at least one hub (Marketing, Operations, or Sales); willingness to develop expertise across all three

  • HubSpot certifications (e.g., Marketing Hub, Operations Hub, Sales Hub) are a nice to have

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines

  • Comfortable joining client calls to explain technical work in clear, non-technical terms

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently

  • Experience with adjacent tools (e.g., Salesforce or other CRMs, Zapier/Make, GA4, CMS platforms) is a plus

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Prior experience in an agency or fast-paced software/marketing environment is a strong plus

ORG OVERVIEW

Meet the Team

We currently have 100+ team members who live in the Philippines who have been fantastic team members and we’re excited to add new team members to this new role!

There are a few traits unique to our business that individuals should consider before applying.

  • You must love the idea of giving back to the community and nonprofits. There are thousands of jobs. If being involved in the success of nonprofits is something you’re truly passionate about, this could be a great role.

  • You must be extremely comfortable with change. As a small growing company, decisions can be made over a weekend and fully implemented by early the next week. Whether that’s new systems, new processes, or new approaches, we look for individuals who can adapt and thrive.

  • You must believe that the best contributors should get better rewards. As a company, we believe in paying people based on the value they generate at the business.

  • You must be willing to disagree and commit. As a growing business, there will be lots of decisions that get made and changes that occur during your time at the company. Some of which you’ll agree with and some you won’t, we strongly believe that the best team members have the ability to disagree and commit (i.e., going with a decision after it has been made regardless of whether or not you agree).

  • You must believe the status quo is unacceptable. As a growing company and as individuals, we believe the status quo is unacceptable. Everyone should be relentless in striving to be the best version of themselves and figure out ways to create more value at the company, enhance our client's results, and grow professionally. The question should always be “How can I be better” rather than “How can expectations be adjusted”.
