About this role

We're looking for a talented and passionate Data Science Intern to join Wildlife's Creatives team in Sao Paulo.

The Creatives team at Wildlife is growing. With an audience that numbers in the hundreds of millions, our games have the power to impact countless lives. Our creatives are the first point of contact between our games and our players, and data is what tells us what works.

As a Data Science Intern, you will be immersed in a data-driven environment where you'll learn how to run structured creative A/B tests, analyze performance data across our game portfolio, and translate results into actionable insights for producers and stakeholders. You'll work alongside creative producers, UA producers, and data analysts, getting hands-on experience with the full cycle of data-driven creative experimentation on platforms like Meta and Unity.

The right person for this position is curious by nature, comfortable in a "take the initiative" environment, loves solving problems with data, and can thrive in a fast and growing business.

What you'll do

  • Data Analysis: You will learn to extract and analyze creative performance data from our internal tools and Databricks, helping to identify patterns, wins, and learnings across multiple game titles.

  • Testing Support: You will assist in the operational execution of creative A/B tests following our structured framework (Exploration, Refinement, and OKR cycles), applying decision criteria and tracking results daily.

  • Reporting: You will support the production of a weekly insights newsletter and monthly readouts, helping to surface top-performing creatives, kills, and key learnings for producers and stakeholders.

  • Dashboard Maintenance: You will help maintain our Pipeline KRs tracker, keeping metrics like Hit Rate, Win Rate, Yield, and Pipeline Velocity updated and accurate on a weekly basis.

  • Documentation: You will contribute to building and maintaining operational playbooks in Confluence, developing your communication and documentation skills along the way.

  • Collaboration: You will work alongside creative producers, UA and data analysts to support a consistent and scalable creative testing operation across multiple games.

What you'll need

  • Mandatory: Expected graduation between July 2027 and December 2027. Applications outside this window will not be considered.

  • Currently enrolled in a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Basic SQL proficiency, comfortable with joins, GROUP BY, and filters.

  • Good oral and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have

  • Interest in mobile gaming, especially as a player.

  • Basic familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.

  • Curiosity about A/B testing and experimental methodologies.

  • Interest in building automations and AI-assisted workflows.

More about you

  • Analytical Mindset: You have a developing eye for data and are eager to learn how numbers can inform creative decisions at scale. You don't just report metrics, you ask why.

  • Team Player: You are self-motivated, proactively seek feedback, and enjoy sharing what you learn with the people around you.

  • Communication: You write clearly and structure your thinking well. You're comfortable producing reports and documentation for a cross-functional audience.

  • Curiosity for AI: You have interest in and openness to working with Gen AI tools and automation as part of your daily workflow.
