About this role

About Us:

Lunar is a stealth technology company building a new type of software platform for health systems. We are on a mission to revolutionize healthcare with cutting-edge, AI-powered software designed to help every hospital deliver world-class care for their patients. Our platform is already the core backbone of health systems today, transforming clinical and operational workflows at scale with the world’s first AI-native hospital information system.

This next-generation platform is a fundamental rebuild of the information infrastructure that runs health systems. All of it – from doctors, nurses, pharmacists, lab technicians, coders, billers, supply chain, and even patients – Lunar’s software powers everything, soup-to-nuts. We believe that this mission is the moon landing of healthcare – something so consequential and ambitious that most people believe it to be impossible.

Backed by Silicon Valley’s preeminent venture capital firms, we believe in the power of a small, high performance team of seasoned professionals operating at the peak of their abilities. We value people who are driven, curious, have sound judgement, and care about doing the best work of their careers.

We are looking for a Hospital Operations Engagement Manager to tackle critical operational challenges and drive successful implementations with our hospital partners. Join us to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and help shape the future of hospital operations with innovative technology.

Over the next 6 months, here are some ways you can make an impact:

  • Own High-Impact Initiatives: Drive critical projects related to implementation of our platform with partner health systems

  • Optimize Hospital Workflows: Identify and execute on opportunities to streamline hospital workflows, leveraging Lunar’s enhanced capabilities

  • Scalability & Standardization: Ensuring implementations are not just one-off successes but scalable across multiple hospital partners.

  • Change Management: Support hospital teams through workflow transitions by providing training, guidance, and best practices to ensure successful adoption of Lunar’s platform.

  • Advance Patient-Centered Care: Contribute to a mission-driven company by building the operational foundation that empowers hospitals to deliver higher-quality, more efficient care

Your Experience:

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to describe clinical workflows, train users, and collaborate across teams

  • Craftsmanship: Committed to excellence, approaching work with precision, care, and a deep sense of craftsmanship to deliver high-quality outcomes

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Proactively identifies and seizes opportunities, solving novel, high-ambiguity challenges with first-principles thinking, resourcefulness, and a bias for action

  • Experience Level: A minimum of 8 years of professional experience, 4-5 years healthcare-related experience

  • Mission Driven: A passion for making a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry

Lunar supports a flexible hybrid work environment. We encourage in-person collaboration with an expectation of working onsite three days a week. Our approach is designed to offer the flexibility of remote work while fostering the creativity and connection that come from face-to-face time with the team.

At Lunar, we know our greatest strength is the diverse blend of backgrounds, experiences, and ideas that our team members contribute.
