This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and customer engagement, focused on helping customers and internal teams bring up and optimize AI models on Tenstorrent platforms.
This role is hybrid, based out of Tokyo, Japan.

About the Role
As a Software Engineer on the AI Models / System Bring-Up team, you will be responsible for porting, validating, and optimizing AI models on Tenstorrent platforms. Working across models, runtime software, and hardware, you will help connect new models, models not yet running on Tenstorrent hardware, and research-stage workloads to stable, high-performance systems.

Who You Are
- You have hands-on experience with deep learning models in at least one major framework such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- You are strong in Python or C++, with a solid understanding of neural network architectures, training, and inference fundamentals.
- You are comfortable developing in Linux environments and can debug issues across software, runtime, and hardware layers.
- You are collaborative and curious, and hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience.
- You have business-level Japanese and sufficient English proficiency to work effectively in a global environment.
