About this role

A quick run-down of the job

As LI.FI continues to scale its engineering organisation, we are looking for a VP of Engineering to strengthen execution across teams and build the leadership structure needed for the company’s next stage of growth.

You will lead the engineering organisation, overseeing all engineering teams and working closely with the CTO, product teams, and the broader leadership team to ensure strong delivery, technical alignment, and scalable execution. This role focuses on execution, leadership, and organisational effectiveness - ensuring teams deliver reliably while building the systems and culture needed to support long-term growth.

A key part of this role will also be helping the organisation scale engineering productivity through AI and automation, enabling teams to deliver more impact without relying purely on headcount growth.

This is a leadership role for someone who is comfortable operating independently, identifying problems before they surface, and building strong systems that allow engineering teams to thrive.

  • Manage and develop engineering managers and technical leaders

  • Set high standards for hiring, performance management, and career development

  • Foster an engineering culture where teams take ownership, move quickly, and consistently raise the bar for execution

  • Encourage teams to deliver meaningful impact for the business

Drive AI-enabled engineering productivity

  • Help define and implement LI.FI’s AI-enabled engineering strategy
