What You’ll Do

  • As Sol de Janeiro is rapidly expanding internationally, we are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support the business in several regions (Middle-East, Africa, India and Turkiye). 
  • The Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing activations for the brand and the wholesale customers across the regions. 
  • This position is a 6-month internship, starting July 2026 
  • The position is based in Paris 8. 

 
This role will report to the Marketing Coordinator in charge of the region and will provide support to the larger Marketing team. 

 

What You’ll Be Working On

  1. Marketing Campaign execution support 
  • Provide retailers and PR agencies with necessary brand assets (packshots, press releases, e-com banners etc.) to support 360 campaign execution. 
  • Maintain and update internal project management tools (sampling trackers, etc.). 
  • Manage digital creative briefs with retailers and creative teams for paid media, CRM, social media... 
  1. PR & Influencer Support 
  • Review influencer-generated content to ensure alignment with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and messaging for tactical marketing campaigns. 
  • Assess influencer profiles for tactical seedings. 
  • Analyze influencer-generated content performances and provide key learnings for all PR initiatives. 
  • Manage all creative requests on Wrike for PR events, PR seedings… 

 

  1. Retailer Social Media Support 
  • Manage the brand’s presence on retailer social media by providing bi-weekly post and story proposals. 
  • Conduct weekly audits of retailer Instagram and TikTok accounts to track brand visibility, analyze content themes, identify areas for improvement, and gather competitive insights. 
  1. Marketing Analysis :  
  • Conduct monthly competitive analysis of local marketing activations, including PR, events, in-store initiatives, online activations, OOH, and media to provide actionable marketing recommendations for our brand. 
  • Analyze retailers’ social media performance to identify top-performing content types and brands, and provide recommendations of Sol de Janeiro’s social media assets to be shared to the different retailers. 

 

Must Haves

  • Master's student in Communication or Business school. 
  • Minimum 1 first experience in marketing, end of studies internship preferred (already 2 x 6-months internships) 
  • Affinity with beauty and digital marketing (influence, paid media etc) is a plus 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English – French is strongly recommended for ease of communication within the team. 
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.  
  • Highly detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines.  
  • Capable of working independently and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and building relationships with multiple stakeholders.  
  • Positive and enthusiastic mindset.  
  • Respectful of company values and maintaining a cheerful demeanor.
