  • Using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and SERDES tools to evaluate design robustness.
  • Debugging bus technologies such as I2C, PCIe, DDR5, and related interfaces.
  • Writing clear validation reports and communicating results to cross-functional engineering teams, including hardware, software, and operations.
  • Driving peripheral qualification efforts for technologies including optical interfaces such as SFP and QSFP, DAC cables, PCIe cards including Ethernet and Fibre Channel adapters, boot drives, DRAM, and x86 CPUs.
  • Supporting reviews of hardware designs and JDM validation reports, while assisting software and diagnostics engineering with lab debug.
  • Owning products from cradle to grave, including reviewing field failures, driving down failure rates, and performing root cause analysis on abnormalities.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • BSEE or MSEE in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of experience. Strong candidates with less experience may also be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of the areas above and excellent debug skills.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, Linux, or similar environments.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, Tableau, and similar tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong execution and schedule discipline.
  • Solid experience using Jira and other bug-tracking tools.
