About this role

Netradyne harnesses the power of Computer Vision and Edge Computing to revolutionize the modern-day transportation ecosystem. We are a leader in fleet safety solutions. With growth exceeding 4x year over year, our solution is quickly being recognized as a significant disruptive technology. Our team is growing, and we need forward-thinking, uncompromising, competitive team members to continue to facilitate our growth.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a staff full-stack engineer whose core strength is building customer-facing products. You will own the experiences that managers, drivers, and operations teams interact with every day — whether that’s a web application, a mobile interface, or workflows that integrate into tools they already use.

You have strong frontend instincts and good design taste. You know how to take ambiguous customer problems, ship something quickly, watch how people actually use it, and iterate. You are also comfortable building the backend services and APIs that power those experiences. Mobile development experience is a plus but not required.

This is a small, early-stage team. You will move between frontend and backend as priorities shift, shape product direction through what you build and learn, and work directly with customers from day one.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Customer-facing product surfaces for managers and workers — from initial prototypes through production-quality experiences. The form factor will evolve; your job is to make the product useful and intuitive regardless of where it lives.
  • Backend services and APIs: data modeling, auth, role-based access control, multi-tenancy, and integration points for enterprise platforms.
  • Frontend architecture: building performant, data-rich interfaces that handle media, real-time data, and complex workflows.
  • Rapid iteration with real customers: shipping quickly, instrumenting usage, and using feedback to drive what gets built next.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with depth in frontend and full-stack product development.
  • Strong product instincts and good design taste. You can make thoughtful UX tradeoffs without waiting for a designer, and you iterate based on what you learn from real users.
  • Experience building data-dense, media-rich interfaces — video, maps, timelines, complex workflows.
  • Comfortable with backend development: API design, data modeling, auth, multi-tenancy.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred): S3, Lambda/ECS, RDS or DynamoDB.
  • Willingness to work across the stack wherever the team needs you. This is a small team — you will wear multiple hats.
  • Mobile development experience (Android) is a strong plus.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
