Your Mission

As People Operations Junior Coordinator, you will help deliver a smooth and compliant employee experience across the full employee lifecycle for 700+ employees working across different countries. You will support the People Operations team with day-to-day processes while ensuring accuracy, efficiency and consistency across people operations.

In this role, you will partner with HR, Finance and external providers to keep operations running effectively, maintain data quality and improve processes that reduce administrative work.

Please note that this is a 1-year fixed-term contract and follows a hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of two days per week in our Lisbon office.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage day-to-day employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, amendments and first-line employee support
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in the HR system
  • Prepare and send employment agreements and change letters
  • Maintain and improve operational documentation, including policies and SOPs
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee queries related to policies, benefits and leave
  • Ensure compliance with local labour law regulations and CBAs, with a main focus on Portugal
  • Support the team in reducing administrative workload through clearer processes and automation

What You’ll Bring

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in People Operations or a similar role (mandatory)
  • Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard of data accuracy
  • Good listening and communication skills
  • A high degree of integrity, confidentiality and discretion
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced, international environment
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset and willingness to go the extra mile

Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire collaboration. Most Catawikians operate in a hybrid setup, combining office-based and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office, unless a role is explicitly stated as fully remote or fully office-based.
