Customer Service Representative

Location:
Coeur d'Alene, ID (On-Site)
Pay Range: $21.00 – $23.00 / hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm & Friday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join the Selkirk team. In this role, you won’t simply be answering phones. You will serve as a brand ambassador responsible for delivering a premium customer experience while managing multiple priorities, systems, and customer interactions throughout the day.

This is a fast-moving, high-volume role that requires strong communication skills, technical accuracy, and comfort navigating customer support systems. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning products, and helping customers while balancing speed with attention to detail.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Manage a high volume of customer tickets, emails, and phone interactions
  • Navigate multiple systems while accurately documenting customer interactions
  • Research and resolve customer questions related to orders, products, warranties, and account inquiries
  • Prioritize competing requests while maintaining quality and response times
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support a seamless customer experience
  • Deliver thoughtful, professional service that reflects the Selkirk brand

What You'll Bring

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience working within CRM or customer ticketing platforms such as Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot, Gorgias, or similar systems
  • Experience managing customer interactions through multiple channels such as email, phone, and ticket queues
  • Typing speed of 50+ WPM
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple customer conversations and priorities throughout the day

Preferred Experience

  • Background in e-commerce, sporting goods, or high-volume customer support environments
  • Experience supporting customers in a fast-paced setting where accuracy and responsiveness are equally important
