About this role

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send the weekly cash position to the concerned employees of Account & Finance and Commercial Team
  • Prepare documentation for any update treasury related matters of the company
  • Coordinate with the bank for any treasury related matters concerning the company transactions
  • Responsible in processing bank transfer, processing of payments and other bank related transactions of the company.
  • Responsible in monitoring the disposal, adjustments, write off and other related matters to the company fixed assets.
  • Responsible in performing general accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, bank reconciliation and other related matters.
  • Work closely with the AP Team to validate the payable subject for approval
  • Work closely with the Finance Team in monitoring the accruals
  • Work closely with the Finance Team in validating the bank recon items
  • Work closely with other department for tasks related to month-end and year-end closing tasks.
  • Prepare and reconcile the BS reconciliation schedule
  • Review, reconcile and prepare adjustments for bank recon, accruals, fixed assets and other adjustments necessary for the month-end and year-end closing.
  • Collate and compile the documents related to the assigned tasks
  • Prepare schedules and answer queries pertaining to quarterly and year-end audit 
  • Submit and upload the schedules and documents for quarterly and year-end audit in the EY Portal. 
  • Prepare adjusting entries pertaining to quarterly and year-end audit 
  • Ensures compliance with the company policies and procedures in doing the assigned tasks
  • Perform any ad hoc duties as mandated by Senior Accounting Manager

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or relevant certification (preferred)
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, treasury 
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and procedures.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to come to the office in hybrid set up
