Annual Salary starting at $70,000
Shift: Days 7am-4pm Monday-Friday
Area of Responsibility :
Assist with maintaining compliance with national and local life safety codes
- Perform regular inspection of safety & fire prevention compliance
- Develop and maintain site specific safety / fire prevention programs to ensure compliance
- Perform audits for Lock Out Tag Out, Job Hazardous Analysis, Machine Safe Guarding, Construction Safety etc.
- Assist and maintain compliance that is consistent with the requirements of ISO 45001
- Incident management (First aid response, accident investigation and incident reporting)
- Assist with Worker’s Compensation Management and Reporting
- Assist with fire equipment and facility inspections as needed

Education Level and/or Relevant Experience:
- Minimum of Bachelors' Degree in engineering or Safety
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Safety and/or Fire Prevention certifications preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of production of complex equipment and system integration
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements that includes but not limited to manufacturing and 6 Sigma Lean manufacturing
• Ability/Experience in using strong skills in analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating problems
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing; including machine capabilities and efficiencies, etc.
Other Requirements:
- Some occasional international travel required
