About incident.io

incident.io is the leading AI incident response platform, built to help teams dramatically reduce incident response time and improve reliability. We bring together on-call, incident response, AI SRE, and status pages in a single platform, giving teams everything they need to respond quickly, reduce downtime, and keep customers in the loop.

Since launching in 2021, we’ve helped over 1,500 companies, including Netflix, Airbnb, and Block, run more than 500,000 incidents. Every month, tens of thousands of responders across Engineering, Product, and Support use incident.io to restore services faster, stay aligned under pressure, and focus on building what matters.

We’re a fast-growing, highly ambitious team that cares deeply about our customers, product quality, and making it magic. We’ve raised $100M from Index Ventures, Insight Partners, and Point Nine, alongside founders and executives from world-class technology companies.

The Team

Our Commercial business is one of the fastest growing parts of incident.io, covering early stage startups through upper mid market companies across North America. We are scaling this segment by expanding headcount, increasing ACV, and building a repeatable, high velocity sales engine.

As Commercial AE Manager, North America, you will lead this growth by developing a high performing team of Account Executives, raising the bar on outbound excellence and deal execution, and bringing the structure and coaching needed for consistent performance.

You will work closely with our Head of Commercial Sales, CRO, and cross functional partners across Marketing, RevOps, Product, and CS to shape how we win - from pipeline creation to forecasting and closing deals.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves coaching reps and building scalable systems. You will combine strong sales fundamentals with clear leadership to take incident.io's Commercial business to its next stage of growth.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high performing team of Commercial AEs with clear expectations and a strong operating rhythm.

  • Hire, onboard, and develop top Commercial AE talent to continually strengthen and scale the team.

  • Drive predictable revenue through accurate forecasting, disciplined deal management, and strong prospecting execution with your team.

  • Install and maintain scalable systems and processes that raise consistency across discovery, deal strategy, qualification, and forecasting.

  • Partner cross functionally with Marketing, RevOps, CS, Product, Legal, and Finance to support pipeline creation and navigate complex deals.

What you need to be successful

  • Experience leading high-velocity SMB or Commercial sales teams in a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment, with a track record of improving consistency and hitting team quota.

  • Fundamentals in full-cycle SaaS selling, with the ability to coach reps on outbound excellence, discovery, and qualification.

  • Ability to hire, onboard, and develop talent in a scaling environment, building teams that grow quickly without sacrificing bar.

  • Spot patterns across deals and rep behavior, and turning those insights into coaching, processes, and expectations that elevate team performance.

  • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with Marketing, RevOps, CS, Product, Legal, and Finance across a high-momentum commercial motion.
