Sr. Android Developer

【 About the role 】

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to lead the development of high-performance mobile experiences that bridge software and hardware. You will tackle complex challenges in low-latency streaming and IoT integration while driving architectural excellence and mentoring the team. Working across functions, you will shape our technical roadmap and ensure app stability across the diverse Android ecosystem.

【What You’ll Do 】 

• Partner with cross-functional teams to design, build, and continuously evolve high-quality Android applications.
• Tackle complex technical challenges and design scalable, maintainable architectures for core app features.
• Take ownership of key technical decisions, driving architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and elevate overall team engineering standards.
• Optimize performance and reliability in areas such as video streaming, real-time communication, and BLE integration.
• Improve app stability, performance, and compatibility across a diverse Android device ecosystem.
• Enhance development efficiency by refining CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and DevOps workflows.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver impactful and user-centric features.

【 Who you are 】

• 5+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin, with strong experience building and shipping production apps.
• Hands-on experience with complex domains such as IoT integration, video streaming, or real-time systems.
• Proficient in asynchronous programming (Kotlin Coroutines, Flow) and performance optimization.
• Experience with modularized codebases (multi-module architecture) and scalable project structures.
• Solid debugging and problem-solving skills, with attention to performance, memory, and edge cases.
• Familiar with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, Agile development, and automated testing.
• Passionate about building high-quality products and continuously improving engineering practices.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Experience with BLE, IoT devices, or hardware-integrated mobile applications.
• Familiarity with video streaming technologies such as WebRTC or HLS.
• Experience optimizing Android performance, including memory usage and device compatibility.
• Experience using LLM or AI tools to improve app development workflows, such as code generation, testing, documentation, or engineering productivity.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts and collaborate across teams.
