Role Overview

The North America GEO Lead is a critical executive leader for the North American region. This role is designed for a visionary who can bridge the gap between "what’s next" in AI technology and "what works now" for the world's most sophisticated brands.

You will spend half of your time as a Product Architect, evolving our proprietary GEO tech stack and methodologies. The other half will be spent as an Executive Consultant, acting as a trusted advisor to our most strategically important NA clients, ensuring GEO is embedded as a mission-critical pillar of their growth.

Key Responsibilities

50% Product & Capability Development

  • North American GEO Strategy: Define the regional roadmap for GEO, ensuring Jellyfish remains the market leader in navigating AI-mediated discovery (LLMs, SearchGPT, Perplexity).

  • Proprietary Tech Evolution: Act as the primary stakeholder for the development of ShareofModel™ and other technology solutions in NA, ensuring these tools solve specific regional client challenges.

  • Methodology Innovation: Develop and standardize "Generative Engine Optimisation" frameworks in collaboration with the global lead, moving beyond keywords to entity reinforcement and citation frequency optimization.

  • Capability Scaling: Design the training and operational workflows that allow GEO to be deployed across the wider One Media team, ensuring technical excellence is scalable.

  • Pencil Pro Integration: Partner with Creative teams to close the loop between GEO insights and GenAI content production, creating a seamless "Insight-to-Activation" workflow.

50% Client Stewardship & Leadership (The Consultant)

  • Tier 1 Client Leadership: Serve as the senior GEO lead for Jellyfish’s most significant North American accounts, translating complex AI shifts into board-level business strategies.

  • Commercial Growth: Own the GEO revenue targets for NA; identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships and lead the GEO narrative in high-profile new business pitches.

  • Strategic Consulting: Move clients from "AI curiosity" to "AI maturity," helping CMOs navigate the transition from traditional search to an ecosystem where AI agents influence the purchase funnel.

  • Executive Thought Leadership: Act as the face of GEO for Jellyfish in North America, appearing at industry events and authoring white papers that challenge the status quo of search.

  • Senior Mentorship: Direct and coach a high-performing team of specialists, fostering a culture of "Real & Rigorous" analysis and frontier-thinking.
