Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in the engine room of a leading financial institution? Our Procurement department is responsible for managing the bank’s third-party spend and ensuring our partnerships are efficient, compliant, and sustainable. As a working student, you will support our Strategic Buyers and Vendor Managers in the end-to-end procurement process, from initial market research to contract archiving.

Your Role

  • Assist in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process by preparing documents, coordinating deadlines with bidders, and summarizing offer comparisons.
  • Maintain and update vendor master data in our systems to ensure high data quality for regulatory reporting.
  • Conduct research on potential new suppliers, innovative technologies, and market trends to support strategic sourcing decisions.
  • Assist in gathering necessary due diligence documents (e.g., ISO certificates, sustainability reports) from vendors to meet DORA and MaRisk requirements.
  • Help prepare monthly spend analyses and KPI dashboards for senior management using Excel or Business Intelligence tools.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding procurement guidelines and the status of purchase orders.

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, Law, or a similar field.
  • Have a "knack for numbers" and enjoy working with data.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Previous experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Fluency in German (at least C1) and English is essential, as you will handle both local and international contracts.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
