About this role

The Mission

We build industrial AI cameras that power factories across the US, China and 15+ countries around the world.. On our engineering team, we are trying to balance fast speed to market and extremely high reliability needs. If our cameras go down, production stops. We are looking for our first Technical Program Manager to help organize a growing engineering team in Taipei and bridge the gap between the Taipei engineering hub, our US headquarters, and our global hardware partners.

Why this role?

  • High Impact: You aren't just tracking tickets; you are defining how we scale from 2 products to 4.

  • Direct Access: Direct access and frequent updates to the company’s executive team. You’ll have the autonomy to build the TPM function from scratch.

  • Concrete Results: Your work directly ensures thousands of cameras run smoothly on factory floors worldwide.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Cross-Functional Programs: Own the end-to-end delivery of hardware and software projects (e.g., custom camera builds with Advantech, Jetpack 6 rollouts).

  • Manage Hardware Partners: Hold ODMs and vendors accountable to design milestones, prototype schedules, and lead-time planning.

  • Ship Software: Lead field release programs, coordinating staged rollouts and maintenance windows with our applications team.

  • Be the Face of Engineering: Join technical deep-dives and QBRs with APAC customers. You’ll translate customer needs into engineering reality.

  • Connect the Regions: Act as the "connective tissue" between our teams in Taipei, China, and San Francisco.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 5–8 years in TPM or Engineering Project Management (A foundation in software project management, with Hardware/Embedded experience as well)

  • Vendor Management: A track record of pushing ODMs/vendors to deliver on time without sacrificing quality.

  • Technical Literacy: Ability to read Datasheets and BOMs. You don’t need to be an EE, but you must be credible when talking to engineers.

  • Communication: Fluent Mandarin and strong professional English are required to navigate our global offices.

  • Field Ready: Willingness to travel to China/customer sites (~once every two months).

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, x86, or Embedded Linux.

  • Background working with Advantech, Adlink, or similar partners.

  • Experience being the first TPM in a high-growth startup.
