About this role

In a nutshell

Every day, we collect thousands of groceries in our Fulfillment Centers (FCs). The groceries are then sent to our Hubs, and from there they’re delivered via our electric vehicles to our happy customers. In one FC, there could be more than 400 employees working per day, with everyone contributing to an on-time and efficient service.

Our FC in Dordrecht is an automated operation and therefore our equipment has to be monitored to ensure there are no delays for our customers.

As an Equipment Operator, you play a crucial role in fulfilling all our customer orders. Without you, it wouldn't be possible to keep our equipment running smoothly! You have an eye for detail and are a real fixer. Are you motivated to contribute to a safe & efficient work environment?

Tricks of the trade

The Equipment operator role consists of three main activities, which you will rotate between during the week.

  • Technical cleaning: You focus on keeping our automated equipment (rollers, belts, wheels, etc.) clean and safe for use. During "Walk the Floors" you walk around specific areas to spot equipment which needs repairs, cleaning or maintenance.
  • Jambusting: You are the ears, eyes and first hands of the maintenance team. When there is an equipment issue, you are the first person on the location to check what is going on. If possible, you fix the issue. If not, you contact the Maintenance Engineer and you can fix the issue together.
  • Emballage Quality Control: You will monitor the quality of the Lids and Dispatch Frames we use in our process.
