About You

  • You're a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Business/Commerce or similar
  • You have over 3 years of experience in public practice
  • You possess strong interpersonal communication skills
  • You have experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for small to medium enterprises
  • It would be a plus if you have: 
    • A primary production interest and/or experience
    • Experience with tax planning and strategy development
    • Proficiency in Xero

The Role

As a Chartered Accountant, you'll:

  • Deliver financial statements, tax returns, activity statements, and interim financial statements for clients
  • Develop expertise in efficient tax strategies, preparing forecasts, reporting, and advice on business structures
  • Present financial performance to clients
  • Review other team members' financials providing feedback on quality and efficiency
  • Identify potential opportunities that Dodgshun Medlin could be assisting the clients with
  • Support team training and mentoring, including transfer of technical skills and knowledge
