Product Manager Growth (Social & Followers)

Your expedition: Product & Growth

This role is about the heartbeat of Polarsteps, the social layer that keeps travelers connected to the people who care about their journeys. You'll own the Social & Follower experience: your users are followers & travellers, think about features that help travelers share what they're experiencing and help followers stay close from a distance. You'll be working at the intersection of product and growth, closely working together with the Track - Traveler experience Product Team, while also keeping our Growth & Marketing team informed.

Your focus is on social growth loops, the features that make sharing feel fun and effortless, and the engagement mechanics that turn passive followers into active participants. This is a role for someone who gets genuinely excited by a few % lift in your numbers but also cares about the experience delivered to users.

Your itinerary

What your journey at Polarsteps will look like day-to-day.

You will:

• Own the Social & Follower experience end-to-end, from sharing functionality and growth loops to follower engagement features, likes, comments, and trip interaction.

• Drive growth for key metrics: MAU, sharing rates, and social engagement, setting the bar and holding yourself to it.

• Design and run experiments to validate ideas fast. You won't guess when you can test.

• Work hand-in-hand with Growth & Marketing to align product initiatives with acquisition and retention goals, no silos, just shared wins.

• Translate messy, complex problems into small, testable stories, making outcomes clear for everyone on the team.

• Celebrate the small wins as much as the big ones. Incremental progress is still progress.

What we're hoping you'll bring with you.

✅ 3–5 years of PM experience, ideally with time spent in a Growth PM role

✅ Genuinely data fluent; you move from hypothesis to experiment to decision without losing momentum. You treat every dataset as a chance to get sharper, not just to confirm what you already know.

✅ A solid understanding of UX/UI and creating a great (app) experience to drive product growth

✅ Experience working on app-first consumer products (B2C is your world)

✅ Growth and marketing-minded, you understand funnels, loops, and what makes people come back

✅ Humble, collaborative, and energized by team wins, this role doesn't work in a silo

✅ Bonus: experience with social or community features, or products where sharing is core to the experience
